Three things:

1. Yesterday, Seamus lost a tooth,
2. and wanted to snuggle,
3. and broke the news to me that, in March he will turn 8 - which is both true and totally impossible. I'm not sure why this comes as such a shock to me considering that his birthday is in March and he is currently seven.
Gorgeous painting called time is neither hopeful nor forlorn. it is an assemblage. by Ashley Addair.

  1. The name of the painting totally goes with the post, in fact it could be the title. Time is so strange with kids, it goes so fast, and they are always the same but always changing almost as you look at them. My oldest is about to turn 6 so I am totally in this head space.

  2. I looked at Jude this week, as he just outgrew his school uniform pants (again) and i saw a glimpse of a man and suddenly was hit with the fact he will be 9 in March and almost a teenager...at which i panicked and thought of him going to college. lucky me though, he is a mama's boy so he will probably aim for Cal Berkeley!!!
