And I do mean "shiny."

Shiny new running shoes. Aren't they spectacular? Maybe now I won't feel like I'm ninety years old for the first mile.

    Shoe update: Very cushy, I felt 85 tops for the first mile and a girlish 70 for the second. Still, they look silly and boatlike.
