Friday, I'm in love....

Will Thoms has a show of new paintings at Gallery Route One in Point Reyes right now. They are gorgeous and you should go look! I called this one (above), but it is for sale, and if you buy it I will be ninety-nine percent super happy for you.

I want to keep them all and hang them on the insides of my eyelids. I wonder if we just have the exact same aesthetic sensibility or if there's some kind of kinship/familiarity at work. I have been seeing and living with my dad's paintings for my whole life, but I don't think that completely explains why I like them so very much.
