I do Looook at the fancy designer fabrics. Longingly. The Amy Butlers. The Liberties of London. And oh, the Anna Maria Horners. And I can't even say that I never ever buy them or that you'd never ever find a scrippity scrap of something in one of my Quilts....
But I tend toward a more traditional "mend and make do" mentality when it comes to scrappy quilts. I think they should be made of scraps. This and heap of that. A quilt made of pieces too small to be of use elsewhere is just what a quilt should be.
And, it's in the shop now....
