It looks like potpourri to me. But with roasted garlic, olive oil, sage and parmesan over whole wheat penne? It was kind of hearty and comforting. My handsome husband pronounced it "earthy." When I tell people about My Month of Mushrooms, I invariable get one of these two responses.....
1. Elh, I don't like mushrooms either, or
2. I love a grilled Portobello! It doesn't taste like a mushroom at all!
People, If your favorite mushroom dish doesn't taste like a mushroom at all, I have news for you: You don't like mushrooms.
