We went to Urban Ore on Friday. Which passes for a field trip around here.... It's a pretty magical place, but let's face it - aren't all salvage yards pretty magical?

Magical yes! Looks like my vision for a perfect outing with the kids. And a recent mirror experience: on the way to set up for my big show last weekend (within about 5 minutes of hitting the road) the mirror in the back of the van, which was to used in my make-shift changing room, broke into a gazillion pieces. A mosaic mirror was not what I had had in mind. It was kind of cool though.
