Weekend at the grandparents in Suisun - lush where it's irrigated, brittle where it's not. Cousins, books and puzzles, Anthony's risotto. My monkeys have run off with other grandparents now - for a week. I'm pretending not to be lonely. So far, not doing a very good job of it.

Around here, there are days when nothing much happens (you've all seen the pictures of the sky). But, some days, my sister comes back from 2 years in Kazakhstan, and the whole family comes over, and the Monday blog post is a day late and I don't care.
