Happy LEAP Day!

We got an extra day! I spent most of it in my studio - doing what I like to call "work" and wondering if you're allowed to call it "work" when you enjoy it so immensely. And I spent one whole minute standing in this spot, looking at sunlight and listening to birds singing.

Around here....

Last week was one of those running hard and not getting anywhere kind of weeks. Going backward, even. But now it's Monday and this week absolutely has the potential to not suck.

I was getting all geared up for an epic adventure this weekend - and then this happened. She's a bit of an epic adventure all on her own. She joined us four days ago and I've taken four hundred pictures of her. All blurry.

It's going to be a strenuous week, but - why not? Clear skies, clear head - it's a good time for working hard and asking for what you want. And maybe? Getting what you want.

A Saturday shoot with Mick and Jamie - who are beyond attractive and generous with their time and energy (and only one of them is related to me). Thank you times the power of the sun to my handsome husband, who shot all the pictures. Most of the pictures. If they're any good, he took them.
