Last basil harvest of the season? Maybe? It's the second week of November and still seventy-nine degrees every day here. It sounds awesome and it is, but we're parched.
Also, business. Busy-ness. But, I heard that sitting is the new smoking. I've got both of those licked.

Around here we are falling back. I was recently on a ladder stringing fake cobwebs on the front of my house and wondering if that's more absurd than the fact that I wash my hair every morning and then apply products intended to make me look like I just rolled out of bed or arrived here directly from the beach. Later I heard that reading certain sections of Kierkegaard is like reading a blog written by someone who can't afford therapy.
